Truly this is...You are saying all the right things. Truly this is what life is about; enjoying your garden, reading books without any guilt, sleeping in the sunshine and baking tasty treats. This is what I'm aiming for next year, so I need to keep watching you to guide me there. How lovely that your SIL is moving closer. You can say it out loud even if someone else doesn't! Keep the lovely summery photos coming, we're going to need them up this end of the world! Please pretend we're off to the side, shooing away the girls whilst you till and plant, and looking forward to sharing the swing with you on sunny afternoons.Beth Waltzhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02720634636307254576noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8730893439768490476.post-67772858129275820262016-11-01T00:42:45.401+13:002016-11-01T00:42:45.401+13:00The title of your post could have been written for...The title of your post could have been written for me! You've got such a nice garden, and what a great selection of plants. I love Dianthus and Aquilegia's are a favourite of mine. Those Muesli bars look very tempting and I might give them a try - especially as there's no baking involved ... As for the Op-Shops, it's been the same here in Belgium lately. xxxPolyester Princesshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05602613792584925087noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8730893439768490476.post-37918665782138400892016-10-31T12:58:39.123+13:002016-10-31T12:58:39.123+13:00I do love that garden! That's quite an achievement.

Our shops have been dull lately too-came home with a pitcher this week-and that's about it.

I've heard carnations grow well against trellis netting to keep the stems straight. Never tired it, but thought I'd pass that along.

My winter garden is giving me rocket, spinach, pea shoots and kale.
