I thought I would treat you to a little ticky tour around the shop I work in on Mondays.
Remains To Be Scene is mainly Vintage and Retro, clothing, furniture and home ware. But there is also plenty of good quality pre loved things that are not that old. Most of the stock is being sold on behalf so it is always changing.
The Flowers were picked from my garden this morning, fresh flowers are always lovely on the counter in a shop.
Top right photo is the Man department, this isn't a very large department because men just don't seem to like to part with their clothes as much as women. There is a faithful bunch of males that regularly scan this rack and go home happy.
This is seriously like reliving my childhood every Monday being surrounded by things from my younger days.
There is the coolest play area so the littlies give their mums some hassle free shopping, a $5 rack and a huge chest full of $2 and $4 bargins if you have the time to dig around in there, and a super friendly old bird behind the counter.
My Monday job isn't really like a job because I love being amongst all the treasures and every Monday there is something new for me to discover. The customers on the whole are pretty ok too!! It has taken me a long time to find a job that I can honestly say I enjoy, and my other part time office gig isn't too bad either.
Do you enjoy what you do for work?
