Surprise!!!
Well hello, I may or may not take up blogging again, but howdiddydo to you all that is if you are still out there in BLOGLAND!!!
COVID-19, what a bitch right! Hope you are staying in your bubble and behaving yourselves, if I can do it anyone can.
My Bubble is me and TOF, the pets, and the garden. I am missing our sons but we keep in touch so all good there. I go for walks but keep it local and make sure I keep my required 2mt distance from anyone else out walking. Sheba is loving these WALKIES, Oscar on the other hand is quite content to stay snoozing somewhere (nearly 14 now). The only time I use the car is to go to the Supermarket for the weekly shop, I stand patiently in line with every other law abiding citizen. My petrol consumption is amazing!!
Autumn is knocking on our door and I am ever grateful for the gorgeous sunny weather we are continuing to get, making this self isolation gig easier to endure.
My garden continues to bring daily joy to me. |
The other joy is my beautiful Toebee. |
Mother Nature is still my Queen. |
I am missing the beach very much. |
And the Arboratum. |
Sweet little old dude Oscar who is 14 this year.
|
Biggles Mc Big Cat aka Big, still guarding the front of our property
but getting skinnier and aging.

Welcome back!!!!! So god to read your extra cheery words and see all the family is well, Mr Big, age creeps up on us all, Toebee, hanging out like the dude he is, And the doggies, always such good company. Down here, as we are in the OVER 70 group, do not venture into the one hour queue or more, a wonderful friend is doing that for us, as well as the pharmacy stuff, until I get a delivery arranged. Hope your other family is all well, and you stay safe up in sunny Hamilton. Not being able to get plants for the winter vege garden is hard, wish I had been brave and rushed into our Mitre 10 the last day it was allowed to be open. Keep happy amidst all the sadness.XXXX
Lovely to see you pop up on my reading list Sue. Gosh has it been a year!! That photo of Toebee is gorgeous - he is really so photogenic. All your four legged friends are looking well - they will love having you home all the time during lockdown. xx
I missed you so much, so I'm thrilled with your photos and chat. Glad you and family are well in this unsettled time.
What a treat to have your smiling and positive blog back on line. We needed you, Sue. Pet's are such a wonderful addition to our lives right now and yours seem to be keeping you good company. My daughter made the 16 hour trek to your wonderful country-North Island I believe, and got 13 days there and loved it. She was back by February 6th, right as the world was starting o understand the virus was not contained to a single part of the world. Let's hope for good news. We are entering spring-slowly but surely here.
Wow, has it really been a year? Time really does fly! But of course, as I'm following you on Instagram, I have been kept up to date of what has been going on in your life, and haven't had to miss your fabulous photos. And Toebee! Glad you are keeping safe and sane in your wonderful little bubble! Let's keep our fingers crossed all of this will be over soon! xxx
So lovely to see you and the animals!
Has it really been a year? If that can fly past so quickly then hopefully lock down should do, too.
Stay safe and healthy and start blogging again, we need all the positivity & distractions we can get!
So great you are back, and fabulous to hear you and yours are all well. Have missed your sunny disposition!
So lovely to see you back blogging.
Glad to see you, TOF and your pets are all well, Sue. Stay safe!
Wow -- so glad you are back. Hope you keep it, esp during this uncertain time. I just happened to see if you had somehow decided to start again and there you were!!
We are hanging tight up in Georgia, USA. Pretty much the same as people all over the world. Staying in, venturing out only when totally necessary, cooking more at home, making very interesting food combinations (LOL).
Please blog some more!!
There she is!
What a crazy time. Blogs are nice as they give you a bit more space than instagram for sharing thoughts. At such an isolated time it is nice seeing all my friends on the internet.
Stay safe and well.
