Gone and added more birds to my flock!!

TOF will be pleased!

Don't have to feed these two
and
they won't make a mess.

Oh yeah
some
PINK FLAMINGOS!!
Plastic Fantastic.

I wore my new to me frock to work today.
Teamed with Red boots
and
Red woolen coat.

When collecting the mail this afternoon for work, (but when on my way home) I stopped in on the Op Shops in Frankton.  I think I have another collection starting, Delft Ware seems to be my thing and this piece was only $1. The little quote is for Mrs Webber, as I don't drink enough to get a hangover.  The Cardy/Jacket is pure wool and 1/2 price at Vinnies so only $4, and in this wild cold weather we are having it will be a welcome layer in my wardrobe.

Hospice in town is remaining my favourite shop at the moment, the Faye Browne Jacket was $2.50 and how could I walk past the very cute spice set at $5.  Even smells like all the spices, so cute!!

Liking my new frock!!
Not liking the rain and the wind we are having.
Fortunately it stopped long enough for some photos.

I love reading about your oppy finds. Seems you have more success than I lately. The new frock is great on you. Your $4 jacket would look good with it too. Hope Sue likes her new plaque! cheers Wendy

A staid neighborhood nearby was once enlivened by a flock of birds like these. When one man bought two, his neighbor objected to placing their pink plasticity in a place where he "had to look at them." Flamingo man then waited till dark and moved all 12 of them to face directly into Objector's large front window.

Happily, that turned the fuss into a gag. The rest of the summer the birds wore glasses, carried bouquets, campaigned for causes and really got around...

Danny recently came across a reference to Delft in something he was reading, so when we were at the thrift store I pointed out some to him. He wanted to know if it always has windmills, and I couldn't really say. I know it has to be blue, and it often has windmills, but I don't know if there's some style guide about that.

That is a very pretty dress. I love the floaty, floral effect.
