This Doctor makes house calls.

Yesterday I went out to visit Sue as her hubby is at home recovering from an operation on one of his knees and she is now house bound playing Nurse.  We all know what it is like to be at home with a man who is poorly so I thought I should go help lighten the load.

Who knew it came in a Pill?
Oh that's right I do, I take a happy pill every morning.

I arrived ready to help!
This was my serious look.

With a bag full of tricks!

Like Man Medicine!

Dr Sue made the patient laugh.
But Sue wasn't convinced the bell was a good idea.
(hopefully over usage doesn't result in another operation to have it removed)

Us gals went for a wander outside in the sunshine.

Apparently these beautiful flowers
are going to grow up into
BROAD BEANS!
I don't like beans.

With my medical career finished for the afternoon
I buggered off home
happy in the knowledge
that
LAUGHTER WAS THE BEST MEDICINE

The pink rubber glove...oh. My. God.

Might have sprained something laughing just now!

You're like me-you plant things you don't like. Sometimes growing them is more enjoyable than consuming. If you end up with a glut, let me know as I have some broad bean recipes that won't make you *love* them, but might make them palatable.

*Duh*
Just realised they aren't your beans. So you're off the hook eating them then...;)

Such a good nurse, you missed your calling, Sue! The patient seems happy enough anyway, but like Sue, I'm not at all convinced that bell was a good idea... xxx

Well done Sue, trust you to go the whole way with gloves etc. Least the patient had a smile.
Hope your charge out rate was accommodating!!!

Dr Sue! honestly, I'd come to your surgery anytime! although I don't think I want the pink rubber glove treatment, I'll give that a miss, but the fart attack tablets are always useful! I hope the bell remains un-inserted!! you really are the best!! x x x

The perfect nurse and most of all the perfect friend!

He looks most cheered up! Your serious look and that glove are a bit intimidating but since you are dispensing laughter pills that's all okay. What a sweet friend you are.

Scarlet Runner beans also have lovely flowers. I love beans but my only experience with broad beans was the hard woody things my grandfather used to grow. They are tastier when eaten young and small. Just like babies. No NO I did not say that!
