Amongst other things I did find where the Pink Granny Bonnets are growing!!

Our weather has been BRILLIANT
for the last 5 days now and long may it continue!!

The weekend was basically
AWESOME!!

I found my Pink Granny Bonnets.
Enjoying the sunshine like the rest of us!

Yay for shite loads of glorious colourful flowers
arriving everywhere in the garden.

and Busy Bees!!

all Loving the sunshine!

In fact it was so sunny that I set up my favourite floral umbrella next to my garden swing seat, and it didn't take long for Tex to find the perfect spot to pass the time.

Oscar joined us but STUNK real bad as he had been rubbing his neck in chicken poo!!  (both sides too!!) Apparently the bitches feen the smell, not me! He got marched indoors and washed down much to his disgust.

Nature was doing her thing everywhere.

How perfect is Lavender?
and the fragrance is divine.

 Oh yeah,
we all made the most of the garden and the good weather.

The girls had one of their meetings.
Hatching a plan I bet.

I hung beads outside,
so the Idesia tree has a necklace now.

 Beautiful clear blue skies.

A wind wop not wopping much as not much wind to wop in.

This bird and its partner have built a nest in our Riwa Riwa tree and I watched them going back and forth when it was nest building time, they are still making regular trips in and out of the tree, I wonder if they are feeding some babies?

 Action dog Sheba,
this game NEVER ends!!

TOF got busy in his vegetable garden, and told me the bird in the tree was a young Tui. I disagreed so took a photo to prove how wrong he was.  There is a Tui hanging out in the huge trees in the school over our back fence, I can hear it singing every day, but yet to take it's picture.

What do you think of my Umbrella??
Bloody beautiful isn't it and perfect for this corner now that the old one that was there snapped in the big winds we had the other week.
Lucky I had one in reserve.

So much for Chicken proofing!!
Where there is a will there is a way, and they have found it!!
They can have the bottom layer.

The lad is recovering the best way he can.
Bathurst replaced his boredom and frustrations on Sunday.
Thanks for all your well wishes.

Salad for dinner from my garden box,
the stuff the girls cannot reach!!
What a healthy way to end the weekend.

Today was yet another glorious day and the animals were all making the most of the great outdoors, apart from Oscar who was indoors keeping the walking wounded (Jak) company.

Meet the Phat Boyz!
Dawns very latest creations, and believe me they are fabulous.

This one I named Billy Bunting.

Getting amongst all things purple in my garden.

The one surviving Gold fish is doing well
but I really think I need to get it a friend or two.

I love this time of the year, the weather is warmer and the garden is lush and colourful, and life feels great.  Hope you have enjoyed spending time in my garden again, we will be there an awful lot from now on.

Sue, your photo journal is a wonderful blend of beauty and reality! One admires the exquisite perfection of a single stalk of lavender -- and notes that the little white dog has been rolling in chicken poop.

I am NOT surprised that the ladies have breached the fence covering the salad bar: they've been calculating how long it would take their necks and the growing goodies to meet for weeks.

Both your garden brollies are beautiful!

Awesome photos! Jealous that your Granny Bonnets are out - but at least my plants are looking healthy so hopefully there will be heaps of flowers! Love those sneaky chooks! Dawn's work is wonderful!!

Oscar is just asking for a shearing, isn't he?
Love the umbrella, and your nasturtiums look good enough to eat ( You can eat the leaves too, but they're on the spicy side).

Your garden is like a tropical resort.
