At the end of the day, it is all about being comfortable in your own skin!

The older I get the more I like colourful stuff in my wardrobe.  I don't want to be an older women in powder blue and beige with sensible shoes and a nice age appropriate short hair cut.  I want to be ME until the end.  Through joining the wonderful world of blogging I have met so many gorgeous individuals that are flying their very own flag and I thank you all, because I think this has helped me to not obey those tiresome rules for ladies of a certain age!!

You lot fan my flames!!

My dress of multiple colours I got last Friday when heading over to Whangamata, and my fabulous blue shoes came via trade me, good old comfortable and funky Fly London.

And that has to be pretty happy!

Then I got these very cool Eject boots!!
To those of you who worry about the size of my wardrobe
DON'T.

I love that saying about, loving the life you live and living the life you love!!  So many people aren't happy, and at the end of the day, it is up to YOU.

This gorgeous colourful coat I bought while in Whangamata last weekend, fully lined in fleece so totally warm, and I doubt I will bump into another 50 pluser wearing one!!

I can do that!!

Tex on the other hand has totally embraced the colour black but he does have an animal print bed on the deck so that is him doing his bit for colour.  Oh and he so enjoyed getting the left over salmon delivered to him in his bed on the deck.  He, I suspect is loving the life he lives!!

Oh,
and own a
CAT
or two!!

Mr Freud should know.

 Set yourself Free
AND
remember this

Agree-all of it! Excepts the cats, as I'm allergic so I'll have to admire them from a distance.

Wow, those boots are something else! Fab. Yep, pussy cats make everything better (apart from when they're nose-butting you awake at six o'clock in the morning! 😀 xxx

Love the coat, love the boots, love the words of wisdom -- but most of all, Sue, I love a woman who feeds a cat tuna in bed! Can hear ol' Tex purring clear over here...

You are an explosion of colour and personality! Love the boots and funky fun out fits. Should you decide to start wearing twinsets, pearls and have a violet rinse through your hair you will still be an explosion of colour and personality!!

Have been meaning to pop over for ages. Enjoyed your inspiration, especially the last quote.
Also loved your tour of the coast to coast in the previous post. We lived in Rotorua for three years, and miss it terribly. We still own a house there, and dream of returning one day. You are my touch of kiwiland.
Love your new funky footwear! I'm partial to flats myself. Xo Jazzy Jack
