One step at a time is good walking

Today I finished work early and instead of swanning about the op shops I popped in on a friend for a quick catch up.  Also, I am saving the op shops for tomorrow, there is a good chance a SuesDay could be on!

I spent the afternoon mooching about home and marveling at the clouds,  to me it looked like they had been sponge painted onto the sky.  I remember sponge painting the Heirs high chair, then a baby manrobe, then a door, and more than likely several other things.  Sponge painting ruled for a while with me.

I was dressed as BRIGHT as the day.

 Cassie was up for cuddles.

Purple and Yellow reign in the garden.

It was a good day for mooching outdoors.

It was also a good day for mooching indoors
on the Chaise with Oscar.

And it was a lovely afternoon to go walking with TOF and the dogs.

Love your bright cheerful outfit Sue. Yes I was into sponge painting for awhile too - like you, everything got sponge painted. Almost even the kids!!!!

That dress with the bright colours and the poppies is the greatest thing I've ever seen. Layered to perfection (as always) and you looking as radiant and lovely as ever. Your hair really goes well with your wardrobe. Goodness that is a lovely look.

I never succumbed to the sponge painting, but I did my share of textured painting with sand and that sort of thing. My child is somewhat obsessed with potato stamping. I'm not sure what would happen if he discovered sponge painting.

Hi, I hopped to you from Leanne, and what a bright spot you added to my day down in the Rangitikei. Love those colours in every post, bright and beautiful. Cambridge is where I spent so many of my early school hols, my uncle and aunt( and cousin) lived in ,first of all William Street, then Claire Street, and my husband's uncle was part of the Hamilton Rose Garden establishment. Waiting for those next lambs to show up.

Sue, you are on my blog friend list now, and hope to see more from your part of NZ. Down here baby lambs, daffodils, some frosts, and today warm and calm.
